1. Our Commitment
Clarity is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards throughout our development process.
2. Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
While we strive for full conformance, some areas of the application may not yet fully meet all WCAG 2.1 AA criteria. We are actively working to identify and resolve any gaps.
3. Accessibility Measures
Clarity takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Semantic HTML and ARIA attributes throughout the application
- Keyboard navigability for all interactive elements
- Sufficient color contrast ratios for text and interactive components
- Responsive design that supports text resizing and zoom
- Automated accessibility checks integrated into our development workflow
4. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- Some complex financial charts and visualizations may not be fully described by assistive technologies. We provide tabular data alternatives where possible.
- Third-party embedded content (e.g., Plaid Link) is governed by the accessibility practices of those providers.
We are working to address these limitations and welcome feedback on areas where we can improve.
